Problem: Pivot rod coming loose

Fix: Turn unit over. Locate small set screw in base. With screwdriver loosen screw and push pivot rod back into place making sure even on either side. Tighten set screw.

The 3 most common repairs are ones that you can do yourself.

Problem: Missing feet

Fix: Turn unit over. There should be 5 feet. On older models it’s a 1/2” diameter white rubber foot. On newer models it’s a 1” beige nylon pad. If 1 foot is missing I suggest you replace all 5. Note: you can replace with either 1/2” or 1” models. I suggest the 1” pad, it’s more stable. Just pull out old ones and press in new ones. Can order on Amazon

Problem: Attachment hitting bottom of bowl.

Fix: Wire whisk:

1) Make sure outer wire loop is sitting in notch of second wire loop. Make sure all wire loops are straight (bend back if needed).

2) Attach to mixer and lift head up. Inside pivot area there is a 1/4” screw. With a screwdriver turn screw counter clockwise 1/4 turn. Turn mixer on to test if still hitting. Continue turning the screw 1/8 turn until not hitting bottom of bowl. Now lock head lever in place to make sure head locks. If not locking, readjust screw clockwise to find happy medium. Sometimes you may need to bend wire loops a little.

3) Attach flat blade to test the same way.
